Hi, I’m Cheryl, and I’m the proud owner of the Alpharetta branch of Oliver’s Nannies. I’m also the mom of a bright and energetic 9-year-old daughter who has been my greatest teacher in love, patience, and resilience.
Years ago, while working long hours in the high-pressure world of freight forwarding, I found myself constantly struggling to find reliable childcare. With no family nearby, the stress of not knowing who I could trust with my daughter weighed heavily on me. I knew I couldn’t be the only parent feeling this way.
That’s why I started this business. I wanted to create what I needed back then: a dependable, thoughtful childcare service built with empathy and integrity at its core — not just for my own family, but for families across our community. Inspired by our founder Kathy’s own ‘man’s best friend,’ who accompanied her throughout many life experiences. Oliver represents loyalty, trust, and connection. Oliver is the best friend that never leaves your side. The one you can count on to be there with a playful smile, a warm hug or to stand with you as you try something new. He always accepts you for who you are and with a wag of a tail lets you know that you are safe and loved.
